Records & Information Management is responsible for the efficient registration, archiving and opening of government related information.
Their tasks are:
- Policy proposals concerning Documents and Information Services for the government of St. Maarten
- The development of policy and procedures regarding central mail recording, sending mail, and central archiving and the supervision of the implementation of those policies
- The supervision of loaned archived documents
- To look after document management such as the central library
- The supervision of the central mail registration, mail sending, and archiving
- Digitalizing of documents and automation of the document information services
